Posts Tagged ‘Coffee Shops’

Don’t worry I’m not really creating a line of coffee shops it’s just for this business role playing blog.

Just wanting some input from anyone with experience. I’m currently pursuing my BA in Business and really would like to own my own business. I recently started looking around and found a ton of companies offering franchising (extremely interested in the coffee shops, etc.).
Any advice/ideas/thoughts would be great!

I have contacted franchise consulting companies like Francorp.com and Frandocs.com but they are expensive.
I really need a sample or example of a franchised or chained coffee shops’ operations manual and how it is written, what is included and how it is formatted.
I am looking for an example of how an ops manual is put together and what is, and is not, included as far as the content goes. But it needs to be a cafe or restaurant’s ops manual. A coffee franchise would be fantastic.
I have a few samples of the table of contents for a typical ops manual, but a full sample would be great. Thanks for your help.

hey guys
im looking for any links to maps/directions that you can give me to the la chocolata coffee shop in amsterdam? ive been to amsterdam 3 times now but i can never seem to find it tho ive found every other one easily! (maybe im jus too stoned lol)
if u can give me directions from either the acro hotel or the amstel botel that would be even better.
thanks x
leigha…… yeah hun, dont go too cheap cos a lot of the time they are hostels with shared dormitories/ bathrooms.
so hotel wise, id reccomend the acro, nice little hotel in a decent place with a good brekkie or the amstel botel (a floating hotel!) which is right next to the train station, and a nice floating restaurant ”the sea palace”. its also not 2 far from all the coffee shops etc..
the hans brinker hostel is cool 2…i know i said hostel lol! but its dirt cheap, and u get ur own facilities unlike other hostels, plus it has a cool club downstairs complete with a pole to dance around on lol!

my partner and i are thinking of going to Amsterdam in July and we both want to try out the coffee/head shops there…which ones would you recommend?
and also does anyone know of any nice but cheap hotels that are near the the coffee shops??
xxx

It seems everywhere i’ve been, they offer a punch card……after 10 drinks you get a free coffee (or there is no punch card, nothing)……. To me that isn’t enough incentive to frequent the same business.
Are there any franchises that offer, say LATTE or CAP for only $2, as long as you go there rather than somewhere else (or similar incentive)?

I met with a potential employer. He does not have an office and works out of coffee shops. He spent the first interview explaining to me about franchising and Macdonald’s and how it got started. After that he says I can work 8-10 hours a week and get 3000USD a month, and after a few years 150,000 a year. It is some kind of web development company. I think it is a scam. Have you heard of this scam before?

There are two new coffee shops in Tyler, Tx., that are being franchised, named YAHOOZ, seems to me to be possible infringement on your name, yu ought to check it out, if anybody cares I can send photos, etc. They advertise the name big time. You can reach me at 903-780-2378 if anybody cares.

I’m thinking about visiting Amsterdam, but don’t want to carry my passport when i go out. Im a UK citizen, will they accept jst my driver’s license?

im looking for websites that show the menus of coffeeshops in amsterdam. links would be helpful. thanks. 420.
