please tell me whats involved from start to finsh in getting a business started ? we are in virginia if that matters

Ok, it had like no window,like where the window should’ve been there was just nothing,and this streched across the whole front of the shop, and just inside, there were people on this sofa type thing that circled around this big pipe thing with a tube coming out of it…

IM planning to open a coffee shop in, FIJI, and comeing up with a classy fresh name for the shop is the hardest part, i would really appreciate some help. FIJI doesnt have many coffee shops and there are some franchise ESQUIRES, GLORIA JEAN, as well as two other shops, THE CHILLI TREE n KAHAWA, those are the only real coffee shops here. what do u guys think is a nice new name for a coffee shop that will look cosy with couches here and there and pretty paintings etc a friendly family feel to it? thanx

I remember my mom has always wanted to start a coffee shop ever since a I was real young and now I want to start one as well. I just didnt how to start out without joining a franchise, I would want it to be my own.

I am currently get my BFA in Photography. I love photography, but I am afraid that I wont have a good career in this. My new dream is to open a coffee business, but I don’t want to start all over in college. Plus I am not sure on the best place to open one. I don’t really want to open one in a huge city, since there are so many around. Any suggestions would be great.

Is the economy and talks of a recession keeping people away from buying high-end coffee? Or is the coffee business recession free? I’m looking at buying a coffee shop and am curious to see if people are still spending on gourmet coffee.

I am thinking about opening small coffee shop in Virginia. I don’t really know a lot about the business, if any of you know about the business or own a coffee shop please share. If you also know a good web site that can provide me with this information please let me know as well. Thanks!
